Paráda! Učíme se česky
The material set Paráda aims at pupils aged 10-15 years (pupils in the second stage of primary school). The set stems from the topics declared in the Curriculum of Czech as a Second Language and reflects the target group’s specific needs. It focuses on the development of language skills and communicative competence. At the same time, it covers selected vocabulary for other school subjects. A pioneering part of the textbook is the section on the Czech language as a school subject, which introduces pupils to the basic terminology and syllabus traditionally presented in teaching Czech as a mother tongue. The authors’ ambition is to provide pupils with a different mother tongue with a comprehensive source of essential information for the later stages of Czech language study at Czech schools.
The textbook is published as an e-book funded by the project resources and is available free of charge; a printed paper version is not available.
